Maya The Bee Hamper Review

Recently the kids were delighted to find that we had some Maya the Bee from Studio 100 goodies to play with. We had a Maya and Willy plush and a 4 in 1 game to try out.

Maya the Bee is a kids animated film which follows Maya and her bug friends on an “un-bee-lievable adventure.” It’s a lovely film for young children. One of the more feel good films without lots of violence so great for family viewing – any excuse to get the popcorn in 😉

The plush toys were a perfect size for cuddling and made from a lovely bright yellow soft plush material and even had antennae and wings which I thought were lovely touches. They were well made, very cute to look at and easily recognisable as their characters from the film. They were sturdy (no floppy heads like the ones you win at the fair).

Along with the plush characters we were given a lovely 4 in 1 Maya game to play with.

The game is suitable from 3 years and you can play as:

  • A puzzle
  • Bingo
  • Pairs
  • Dominoes

All the pieces are brightly coloured and feature all the characters from the Maya the Bee movie. The puzzle is 35 piece so just right for my 3 year old to do.

We all joined in with the bingo game, we placed the characters cards face down and each time we got a match we placed in on our bingo card. I lost spectacularly with the kids both beating me!

The dominoes are nice and solid and have lots of different pictures of the characters to match up. This was something the children hadn’t played before so was fun showing them how to play!

Maya is available to buy on Amazon here

*We were sent the items free for the purpose of this review however all opinions remain honest and my own*
