It’s no secret that my daughter is a fan of a doll or 20. What’s the perfect toy to go with your dolls? A fabulous pram of course! The Mamas & Papas Junior Ultima Pram was sent to us for us to try out and see what we thought. The one we received was in a lovely navy/pink and white spot colour.
The fab thing with this pram is that there isn’t an awful lot of ‘putting together’ involved. Always a bonus when you have an excited child chomping at the bit to play with it. In the box you will find:
Main Body Frame including apron
Shopping Tray
4 Wheels
To open up the pram pull the handle up and the body done and fix the buttons on the sides.
To pop the wheels on all you need to do is remove the wheel axle protection caps – there are 4 .
Once removed you can see where to attach the wheel. They just click on.
The pram as you can see is just the right height for my 6 year old daughter. She fell in love with it right away and couldn’t wait to get a doll in there to play ‘Mummy’.
The handle can be adjusted if required by using the plastic buttons on the sides. The tray just needs to be slid underneath and clipped onto the front axle first then the rear one.
Just like a real pram the hood folds back down to allow easy access to your chosen doll and has a peekaboo flap at the back. The apron is held on with poppers and can also be removed.
The pram comes with it’s very own pram bag for you to pop in nappy/bottle etc and has a handle long enough for you to hang over the pram handle. The bag even transforms into a changing mat.
We used it with a Baby Born Ineractive doll which is 43cm and there was plenty of room.
