Exante Diet | An Update

I have not been paid to promote the products I’ve written about here and I have bought all of them myself. In the interest of anyone thinking of starting this particular weight loss plan I thought it helpful to share my experience.

Now the new year is upon us I thought I’d update you all on where I am with my weight loss. Six months ago I started to write every week with an update on how I was losing weight and how fast as I went along but then Covid went mental again, as did work and I just couldn’t keep up with everything and something had to give. That, unfortunately, was my blogging. I did however manage to stick to my Exante diet – if you haven’t yet seen any of my posts on it Exante is a high protein / low carb meal replacement diet plan. I have no idea how I managed it considering all that was going on but with encouragement from my friends I just got myself in the right frame of mind and was resolute in my efforts. I have spoken in the past about thinking I was fat when I wasn’t and having little confidence along with anxiety.

This was the photo that made me look at myself in horror and realise I needed to do something.

I don’t even know how I’d managed to get so big, the biggest I’ve ever been, it just creeps on over time and as I couldn’t do much exercise once my hip pain became unbearable ironically exacerbated in part by me starting a couch to 5k. This meant I struggled to hobble around never mind continue to run so I turned to the food side of losing weight. This is where I came across ads for the Exante diet and decided to go for the Exante 800 calorie total meal replacement diet plan for fast, visible and effective weight loss. I followed it strictly for 12 weeks with all my meals being swapped for Exante products, I found I got on with the bars the best as it felt as though I was actually eating something whereas with the shakes I didn’t. I then relaxed it a bit and had 2 bars and a meal. Particularly over the Christmas period I allowed myself treats and I found that even if I did slip and have “naughty” foods I couldn’t eat as much of them as I get fuller quicker.

This is me now, I feel much more comfortable in my own skin, I feel more confident and have begun wearing clothes that are less sack like to hide the lumps and bumps underneath. I find at the moment that my head hasn’t quite caught up with my body as I still can’t quite believe I’ll fit into the smaller sizes and have ended up buying and having to return things that hang off me several times.

I am delighted to say I’ve lost a total of 2st 7lb and dropped 2 dress sizes in 6 months. I’m shocked at how easy I found it and how quickly it seemed to fall off me in comparison to the million other diets I’ve tried and failed at in the past. When you read other peoples stories of the diet which I did obsessively to start with you might see that they lose huge amounts in the first few weeks and I didn’t do that, I lost quite slow and steady you can see an example of my weekly losses in the posts below. I think it very much depends on how much you have to lose to start with and how carefully you stick to it as to what you lose. I’m really pleased with the rate at which I lost it. I’m now following the Exante 1200 plan where I have 2 products and a low carb meal and so far I’m maintaining I still find having the bars handy, particularly when I’m at work and need to eat in a rush.
